Commissioner Welcomes New Director for People with Special Needs

The Kano State Ministry of Women Affairs, Children, and Disabled has today welcomed Hajiya Binta Bala as the new Director for People with Special Needs.

In a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Disabled, Kano State Bintu Nuhu Yakasai, made available to newsmen in Kano.

The statement explained that the appointment marks a significant milestone in the ministry’s efforts to empower individuals with special needs.

The new director was warmly received by Commissioner Amina Abdullahi Sani Permanent Secretary, Director of Administration and General Services, and other directors in the ministry.

The commissioner welcomed the new director and emphasized the importance of collaboration with other departments to ensure a smooth transition and effective management of the new department.

Amina commended Governor Yusuf of Kano State for involving people with special needs in every aspect of life.

She also appreciated the governor for approving her request to create a department of people with special needs in her ministry.

The commissioner added that this development underscores the administration’s focus on sustainable development and empowering communities.

She pointed out that, the Ministry of Women Affairs, Children, and Disabled is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all individuals, particularly those with special needs.

“This development is a significant step towards promoting their welfare and empowerment” she explains.
