NAHCON Successfully Concludes Airlift of Pilgrims for 2025 Hajj

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has successfully completed the airlift of pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the 2025 Hajj operations.

This was disclosed by the Chairman of the Commission, Professor Abdullahi Usman, during a press briefing at the Pilgrims’ Terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Professor Usman expressed satisfaction with the smooth execution of the airlift exercise, commending the dedication and coordination of the Commission’s staff, airline operators and partner agencies.

He emphasized NAHCON’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the welfare, safety and timely transportation of all Nigerian pilgrims.

He noted that this year’s airlift began earlier in May and involved the coordination of thousands of pilgrims across various states.

According to him, the second phase of outbound flights is expected to commence shortly, as the Commission transitions into the next stage of the Hajj operations.

The Chairman assured the public that NAHCON remains focused on maintaining operational efficiency and delivering quality services throughout the pilgrimage season.

The press briefing marks a significant milestone in the Commission’s ongoing activities for the 2025 Hajj.
