BAUCHI GOVERNMENT REQUESTED TO EMPOWER PERSONS WITH DISABILITY.

Bauchi State Government has been requested to empower persons living with disability to become self reliant in the society.
The State chairman Spinal Cord Association Of Nigeria (SIAN) Malam Iliyasu Ismail made the appeal at the celebration of world spinal cord injury Day in Bauchi.
Mallam Iliyasu Ismail said empowering people living with disability would assist them to contribute their quota to deverlopment of the society.
According to him 5th of September has been set aside to celebrate the International Spinal Cord Injury day by the International Spinal Cord Injury Society.
The theme of this year’s rememberance day is tagged “Access to spinal cord services and less complications”
