Gov. Yusuf sworn in 45 Advisers , charge them to meet expectations

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has charge the newly appointed advisers to be dedicated in the discharge of their assigned responsibilities.

The governor stated this while delivering his address shortly after swearing in the new advisers at Government House Kano.

He said their selection was strictly on merit and their loyalty to his administration, hence they not in ensuring that the stated objectives were being achieved.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf appealed to the new appointees not to hesitate in offering meaningful and quality advise on relevant issues geared towards achieving the set objectives.

He charge them to liaise with the civil servant and redouble efforts in ensuring that the campaign promises were being fulfilled.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf urged the newly appointees to exercise patient as government was working assiduously in ensuing that all the necessary logistics were being provided , especially office accommodation, mobility, and overhead among others.

The Governor warned civil servants in the state to be more committed , stressing that his administration would tolerate laxity and incompetency.

Highlights of the events includes administering and signing of oath of office.

The event was attended senior government officials and other stakeholders.
