NHIA sensitizes Desk officers from NW on effective service delivery in Kano

The National Health Insurance Authority has reaffirmed readiness in ensuring more effective service delivery to the enrollees.

The Acting State Coordinator of the agency in Kano Malam Aliyu Ibrahim Alhassan Disclosed during a one day sensitization workshop organized for NHIA Desk Officers from the northwest zone held in Kano.

He said the aim of the workshop was to enhance the understanding of the desk officers on the activities of National Health Insurance Authority, especially policies and procedures to strengthen collective commitment to providing quality Healthcare services to the public.

Malam Aliyu Ibrahim Alhassan noted that the meeting would provide an avenue where ideas would be exchanged , and meaningful discussions would be conducted with the aim of achieving the set objectives.

in her address the deputy director formal sector NHIA headquarters Abuja Messari Edian said the workshop would play a vital role in enhancing the capacity of the stakeholders geared towards achieving maximum effective service delivery.

She urged the participants to make adequate utilization of the experience they would gain during the training , and should step down the training to other stakeholders with the aim of achieving the stated goals.

The meeting was attended by desk officers of MDA’s from the northwest zone.
