KNSG reassures commitment towards collaborating with police to enhance security

Governor Abba Yusuf, of Kano state has reassured the commitment of his administration in ensuring adequate security of the citizenry.

The Governor Stated this at a hangout with the 222 influential youths who have change to be good Samaritan at Sani Abacha indoor Stadium Kano.

Governor Yusuf called on the influential youths to live up to expectations and be honest with themselves and the society by become law abiding.

He said the State Government would continue to support the Police and other security agencies to perform optimally.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf warned that any of the youth who decides to disregard law and order would be arrested and prosecuted.

He described the repentant youths as victims of the personal whims of some desperate politicians who drug them and use them to achieve their selfish political motives.

He Applauded the political commitment demonstrated by President Bola Tinubu, for his efforts in ensuring lives and property of Nigerians.

Earlier, Commissioner of Police Mohammed Usaini Gumel, commended Governor Yusuf for the support to the police in its efforts of providing peaceful atmosphere in the state.

He noted that the police has since submitted the list of repentant youths to the governor according to the trade they have chosen.

” We will continue to be proactive to sustain the ongoing peaceful atmosphere in our areas of supervision for peace, progress and political stability of our state “.

Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayaro, commended the Police and other security agencies for their contributions in the ongoing to the fight against criminal activities in the state.
