Governor Uba Sani has sworn in the newly appointed Secretary to Kaduna State Government, Dr. Abdulkadir Mu’azu Meyare.

The swearing in which took place at government House Kaduna.

Governor Sani congratulated Dr. Mayare and urged him to use his verse experience in coordinating the activities of the Ministries and government agencies especially in the implementation of policies and decisions.

Dr. Mayere is a retired Federal Permanent Secretary served the nation in various capacities and distinguished himself.

“Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu Mayere is a retired Federal Permanent Secretary. As a Federal Permanent Secretary, he served at different times in the Ministry of Mines and Steel Development and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, two ministries that are strategic to the socio-economic development of Nigeria and the fight against poverty, hunger and achieving food security among other positions”

Similarly, Governor Uba Sani has formally inaugurated Kaduna State Executive Council, saying that, the Council was fully constituted for the running affairs of the state and Congratulated all members on their well deserved appointments.

The governor told the members of the State Executive Council that their well of experience, knowledge, commitment and selfless service swung their appointment while People expect so much from all of them and they must not fail them.

He reiterated that, the Cardinal objective of his administration is rural transformation, stressing that, his administration really want to revitalize rural economy through massive infrastructural development.

According to Uba Sani, this Executive Council is responsible for advising and assisting him in the performance of his official duties.

He further revealed that, the success and stability of his administration rest on the shoulder of members of the State Executive Council, urged them to deliver at this challenging time in the life of the state and the county.

Governor Sani charged them to braiseup for the very difficult task, said he has no doubt in mind that, with the caliber of members of this council, they should surpass expectation and leave a lasting legacy in Kaduna State.
