Kaduna State government,Jobberman partners to address Unemployment in Kaduna

Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr Hadiza Balarabe has declared open the first ever Kaduna Career Fair, a two-day event that will provide job placements and employment opportunities to over 1,500 young individuals in the state.
Dr Balarabe while declaring the event open said the event was organised by the Kaduna State Government in collaboration with Jobberman, Nigeria’s foremost recruitment platform that links jobseekers and employers through its online platform.
Dr Hadiza Balarabe explained that, the initiative would bridge the unemployment challenges that the state is facing
The Deputy governor pointed out that, the administration of Governor Uba Sani was determine to change the narratives of unemployment.
She also stated that, Human capital Development had become imperative as a way to to reduce the level of unemployment and lifting citizens out of poverty.
Assuring citizens of proper education, health care to ensure the youth are employable and capable or capable of employing themselves.
In a remarks, the General manager Jobberman Nigeria Mr Ahmed Alaga said the purpose of the gathering was to provide opportunities for talent development while linking candidates with employers.
Mr Alaga decried on the level of unemployment amongst the youth in the country which he called for collective action and innovative solutions.
According to him, despite commendable efforts and initiatives, the persistent gap between opportunity and demand necessitates their collective focus.
He further stated that, the platform offers job seekers and working professionals a gateway to connect with leading companies, gain valuable insights from industry experts, and explore tailored career opportunities.
Also Speaking, Kaduna state commissioner, Ministry of Business Innovations and Technology Mrs Patience Fakai disclosed that , the forum is both timely and refreshing.
The commissioner noted that her Ministry is going to maintain a database of applicants after this Fair in order to continue to match-up with opportunities that come up in future.
