A Renowned International Businessman, Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu popularly known as Dan China has declared intention to contest for the seat of Governor in Bauchi state come 2027 elections.
A statement signed by his Director Media, Muhammad Abdullahi says Abdullahi Adamu Dan China made the declaration in his country home at Sabon Garin Narabi in Toro Local Government.
The statement says after due consultation with critical stakeholders, Politicians and well-wishers across the State, the traditional title holder of Sarkin Ma’adinan Bauchi resolved to join the 2027 Governorship race in the state, to respond to the call of the public particularly masses at the grassroots.
According to the statement, Bauchi state is in dire need of a competent person to pave way for rapid socioeconomic development, especially in the areas of Job creation, Education, Healthcare and enhanced security.
While maintaining that Bauchi state is blessed with abundant untapped mineral resources and fertile land for agricultural activities, the renowned Miner assured to propell the state to economic prosperity through agriculture, mining and exploration activities to the level that the state will no longer depend on monthly Federal Allocation if elected.
It says Dan China used the medium to call on the good citizens of Bauchi state to give him the mandate by supporting his dream to transform the state.
Dan China reaffirmed determination to provide good governance that is open and inclusive to people of Bauchi if elected in 2027.
According to the statement, the founder of the YES-KAWU Foundation which focuses on humanitarian services across Bauchi and some other states, says he will in due course announce the platform to contest the governorship seat after making final consultations.
Abdullahi Adamu Dan China had contested for State House of Assembly seat in 1993 under NRC, as well as Governorship seat under CPC in 2011 and KOWA Party in 2019 general elections.
