BSPHCDA Recognises Community Resource Groups’ Performance

Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency conducts its 2023 Annual Recognition Award Ceremony for best performing traditional leaders, Community Resource Groups, CHIPS Agents, Mama2Mama, Local Government Leadership among others.
The Executive Chairman of the Agency Dr Rilwanu Mohammed urged the best performing Community Resource Groups and LGAs to do more and challenged others to follow suit.
Dr Rilwanu Mohammed, represented by the Agency’s Director of Disease Control and Immunization, Dr Adamu Muhammad said the ceremony was to appreciate the awardees for the good work they have been doing in mobility pregnant women to attend antenatal, deliver in health facility and take their children for immunization.
Also speaking, the Chairman Bauchi State Emirates Committee On Health, BASECOH and Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman said the contributions been offered by the community structures in ensuring good health etiquette was a clear testimony that they have understood what they were preaching for.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Adamu Sambo, represented by the ministry’s Director, Medical Services, Dr Auwal Abubakar appreciated and congratulated the awardees for their relentless effort in advocating global best health practice.
The Coordinator National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA Sulaiman Madugu said the recognition was apt in view of the numerous contributions being rendered by the awardees and urged them to maintain the momentum.
Our Correspondent reports that goodwill Message were offered by representatives of United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Dangote Foundation among other Implementing Partners.
