Yobe LG Elections: IPAC Urges All Political Parties to Participate
All political parties in Yobe State have been urged to present their candidates who will participate in the forthcoming local government election.
The State Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Umar Adamu Jajere appealed while briefing newsmen in Damaturu the state capital, on the local government’s election slated for 25th of May, 2024.
Adamu Jajere also called on the State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC) to shun partisan and discharge its duties as required by the constitution.
He further urges all eligible voters to come out in mass and vote for candidates of their choice on 25 May 2024.
The Chairman IPAC added that Governor Mai Mala Buni has assured the council that equal level playing ground will be provided by all the candidates of various registered political parties.
