Governor Inuwa pledges continues investment in human capital projects.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State says his administration has made substantial strides by building a fully functioning primary health care centre in each of the one hundred and fourteen wards in the state.

The Governor made this known at a Statewide Broadcast to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of his administration held at the Council chamber of the government House Gombe.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya explained that, his government has remodelled the Specialist Hospital Gombe, renovated two General Hospitals in Bajoga and Kaltungo and currently constructing a brand-new General Hospital in Kumo, adding that these effort is aimed at providing affordable health care services at the doorsteps of the common man.

Inuwa Yahaya said in the education sector his administration has made a significant progress by upgrading five schools to Mega school standard by building four special schools and mopping up over three hundred and thirty out of school children in the state.

He further explained that one of the most notable achievements of his administration in infrastructural development has been the construction of critical roads that previous administrations were afraid to undertake due to difficult terrain and significant cost implications.

According to him, his government will consolidate on the infrastructure by investing in rural and urban transportation network, expanding and pursuing urban renewal and development with renewed vigor through GOGIS, GOSUPDA and other agencies of government.

Governor Yahaya said his administration will continue to invest in human capital development especially in the education and health sectors through the various initiatives.

The Governor assured that his administration will equally continue to improve on the business-friendly reforms in order to foster a conducive business environment, attract investment and stimulate economic growth.
