Nigerian Army Neutralises Terrorist in Taraba state.

In its efforts to rid Taraba state of criminal elements, troops of the Six Brigade, Nigerian Army Sector three Operation Whirl Stroke have successfully neutralised terrorists’ hideouts in Ikiyayo Forest, Wukari Local Government Area of the state.
In a post on it’s official X handle, the Army said having received liable intelligence report regarding terrorists’ whereabouts, troops of 93 Battalion sub-sector 3B immediately swung into action in the early hours of 7th July, 2024.
According to the post, the troops in a heavy gunfight neutralised one terrorist, destroyed their camps, and equally recovered items such as one AK-47 rifle, an AK-47 magazine and 39 rounds of 7.62milimeters special ammunition.
While urging residents of Taraba state to provide them with valid and timely information on any suspicious activity around them, the Army said it remains resolute in maintaining peace and securing lives and property.
