APC NWC, Commiserates With Yobe State Gov’t, Over Attack On Mafa Community

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressive Congress Party (APC) has paid a sympathy visit to Yobe State over the recent Attack on the Mafa Community under Tarmuwa Local Government Area of the state.

Leader of the delegation and Chairman of the National Working Committee Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said they were in Damaturu the capital city of the state, on behalf of all members of the APC to commiserate with the government and the good people of Yobe, for the unfortunate Boko Haram attack on Mafa Community that claims many lives and properties of some innocent indigents of the state.

He prayed for Allah to grant the souls of the departed an eternal rest and their family fortitude to bear the loss.

Dr Ganduje, who expressed worry over the killings, described it as an act of inhuman, saying that the Nigerian government and all members of the ruling All Progressive Congress Party have condemned the act in totality.

The National Party Chairman further urged the Government and good people of the state to always collaborate with the security agencies by giving them meaningful information that will facilitate their operations.

Responding, the Yobe State Governor, Hon Mai Mala Buni, who received the high-powered party delegation, commended the NWC for identifying with the government and people of the state over the sad incident.

Governor Buni reiterated his administration’s commitment to build on the cordial relationship existing between Yobe State Government and Security Agencies working in the state.

He, therefore, assured support of the state government to the army, police, other security organizations, and the vigilante group to beef up security across the state.
