Governor Uba Sani Launches 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and appeal fund with Five million naira.

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has launched the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund with five million naira as his personal donation to the state chapter of the Nigerian legioneers.

The Governor while launching the emblem in Kaduna, called on corporate organisation, individuals to donate generously to support the families of the fallen heroes.

Governor Uba Sani pointed out that, since the colonial era, arm forces had been involved in serving the people where many officers have paid an ultimate price in protecting the country.

According to him, their act of gallantry will be remembered always, saying that, the arm forces have been recording success despite some challenges faced them.

Governor Uba Sani further called on Nigerians to commit to the national pledge to serve Nigeria with their strength and defend her unity.

In remarks, the acting Chairman, Nigerian Legioneers, Kaduna state Chapter, Major Danjuma Baren rtd appealed to the Kaduna State Government to provide them with official vehicles to enable the association to discharge its responsibilities effectively.

He also appealed to the government and the general public to support the fallen heroes family and those they left behind to ease their plight .
